DISCLAIMER: I originally intended to post this on reddit, but when I tried to submit it I was told it was too long. Considering I just spent the last hour typing all this and deciphering my shitty 9 year old cursive, I'm determined to still post this.

I wrote this when I was 9 years old. I am going to copy what I wrote in 4th grade so you can all enjoy it or perhaps laugh at it. It's put together like a book, so you can turn the pages and everything, and I even have a front cover illustration and a back cover illustration.

However, the content is written like a screenplay/movie script. I never used quotation marks, nor did I say who was talking or when, so I added that here to make it less annoying and more coherent.

Please forgive any plot holes and inconsistencies in advance. Also, please forgive me if this does not adhere to the source material enough or at all. Again, I was 9 years old, and this was for a class project.

Story begins:

The year is 3067, the wars between Terran and the Zerg have not ended. We have been fighting for more than 8 years now. We have suffered heavy losses. Our defense is low. Less than 112 marines left to fight the Zerg. Kerrigan is the leader of Zerg. She used to be human. She was infested by the Zerg Queen. She still thinks like a human, but yet she still likes being the Zerg scum.

She eliminated thousands of my men consuming her own kind so when she is wounded it will heal her. Her weapon, a sword like object, rips through my men's armor and through them. If anyone receives this transmission send backup.

...Jim Raynor...over and out.

STARCRAFT
Brood War

----------------

"Delta one over...We're moving in, 7-6'er over. Units A-C moving in sir. Armed and ready. Sir!! Zerg. They've unburrowed sir." -unnamed marine

"Well shoot the dang things! Shoot 'em all!" - General Edmund Duke

"Roger. Okay men, fire at will!" - unnamed marine

As the solders move with the smell of war in their mind the enemy Zerg are preparing for a secret attack.

"Sir we're taking heavy fire!" - unnamed marine

"I don't care. Shoot 'em!!" - General Edmund Duke

The Zerglings attack the troops eliminating one by one and [so] on.

"We gotta pull back sir!" - unnamed marine

"No! It's an order. Shoot, pull your trigger and shoot." - General Edmund Duke

Minutes later the Terran army reaches the Zerg base. As the Terran army enters the enemy base, hydralisks unburrow from teh entrance, shooting acid slime at the men. The troops fire their weapons, the shells from the bullets hitting the ground one by one. The bullets hitting the Zerg one by one.

"Their armor is too strong!" - unnamed marine

"Keep shooting, it'll get through. Aim for the head." - General Edmund Duke

The men aim their weapons and prepare to fire. Their weapons slice in half.

"Kerrigan! Sir! She...she...what happened? No! It can't be! It's Kerrigan!" - unnamed marine

"Full retreat!" - General Edmund Duke

"Aaaargghh!! Ohh!" - unnamed marine

"What happened?" - General Edmund Duke

"General Edmund Duke." - Kerrigan

"Kerrigan." - General Edmund Duke

"I see you are surrendering?" - Kerrigan

"Never." - General Edmund Duke

"If there is no surrender then..." - Kerrigan

"If you touch my men, I'll.." - General Edmund Duke

"You'll what? I could end you any time. A full army couldn't destroy me. You'll kill my Zerglings, you'll pay." - Kerrigan

"AAAAAARRRRGGGGHH!! Kerrigan!" - General Edmund Duke

Kerrigan carelessly cuts through the men's armor. Eliminating his men.

"Kerrigan, you! You! Noooo!!" - General Edmund Duke

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Your words, they don't hurt me. Your men, they can't even hurt me. I wouldn't try sending more men. It would be suicide." - Kerrigan

"I'll get you. I'll..I'll.." - General Edmund Duke

"Ha!" - Kerrigan

"Sir." - unnamed marine

"Soldier! Are you okay?" - General Edmund Duke

"Yah, I'm fine. Ahh! Sir, are...your men. They're..they're.." - unnamed marine

"I know." - General Edmund Duke

"A dropship will pick you up. Was that Kerrigan?" - unnamed marine

"Yes." - General Edmund Duke

"Sir, got a medic or two? I think I'm infested." - unnamed marine

"No, how can you tell?" - General Edmund Duke

"My arm is numb. It's green." - unnamed marine

"You'll be one of them soon" - General Edmund Duke

"How long till the medics get here?" - unnamed marine

"30 minutes." - General Edmund Duke

"Aah!" - unnamed marine

"Are you okay?" - General Edmund Duke

"Yeah, I feel diferent. Aah. Ahhg." - unnamed marine

"What's happening?" - General Edmund Duke

"I...help!!" - unnamed marine

"N.E.I.W." - radio transmission

"Who is it? What is it?" - General Edmund Duke

"Protoss." - unnamed marine (I guess the transmission was/is causing him pain or something, it's not clear in my story)

"N.E.I.W." - transmission

"Translation on." - unnamed marine

"N.E.I.W." - transmission

"It's not translating, it must be English." - unnamed marine

"N.E.I.W." - transmission

Transmission lost.

(At this point, the dropships have come and taken them to a base. If I didn't tell you this the next part would make no sense, as I never informed the reader of this important detail in my story.)

(General Edmund Duke is, presumably stepping off the dropship right now and begins to bark orders, and that's where my story picks up)

"Send a rescue team. I want my men out of there." - General Edmund Duke

"Already done." - unnamed marine

As the rescue team is on their way, the alarm sounds.

"Security breach!" - guard

The security runs toward the area where the alarm sounded. The guard who had been standing there wasn't there. Only a spec of blood lay on the floor.

"Total lockdown!" Yelled one of the security guards to his radio.

At that time, every door, every gate, every infrared laserbeam was turned on and locked.

"The Zerg can't burrow here, don't worry." - security guard to General Edmund Duke

They tripled the security of the area and called for more troops.

"Code yellow. Standby on two lasers." - security guard. (apparently at this point the alert is lowered)

The alarm was turned off, but still able to be turned on in case of an emergency. Delta base sent 900 troops and three jet crafts to the base. At that time 40 protoss units came toward the gate of the Terran war base. An alarm sounded.

"Code red. I repeat, code red." - guard

All bases picked up the message. They sent backup. The security guards fired their weapons. It hit the enemy shields, eventually the shields were penetrated and hit the enemy. The bullets hit and the enemy protoss opened fire.

The General was evacuated by a dropship hovercraft with 3 scout shuttled guarding. The troops were almost out of ammo. 3 siege battle tanks came out of the war factory and fired. By then at least 27 security guards were shot and killed, and 6 wounded.

Three hours later the protoss force was finally eliminated. All tanks were damaged, 48 men shot in vital places, and 21 severely wounded. 2 satellites were destroyed. Soon after, the General was transported to a maximum security base twenty times the size of the old base. Laser gated and shielded. 8 science vessel labs with E.M.P. missiles.

The troops saluted the General as he got out of the dropship. The General ordered the pilot to pick up the remaining men at his base.

"Don't forget to bring a few medics." - General Edmund Duke

"Roger, sir." - unnamed marine

Five minutes later the communications station pick up a transmission.

"Well who is it?" - General Edmund Duke

"We only picked up a small transmission." - radio operator

"What did it say?" - General Edmund Duke

"I'll replay the transmission." - radio operator

"N.E.I.W. N.E.I.W. no ends.." - transmission

"That's where the transmission cut off." - radio operator

"N.E.I.W.? What's that mean? - General Edmund Duke

"Well sir, we picked up the first two words. No Ends. That would be the N.E. part of N.E.I.W." - radio operator

"No. Really?" - General Edmund Duke

"Sorry sir." - radio operator

"You don't happen to have any other messages, do you?" - General Edmund Duke

"Well, yes. Quite a few actually. It's been happening almost every week this year." - radio operator

"How many tapes do you have?" - General Edmund Duke

"Quite a few." - radio operator

"How many is quite a few?" - General Edmund Duke

"47" - radio operator

"Thank you." - General Edmund Duke

"Would you like to listen to them all?" radio operator

"You think I have time to listen to 47 tapes?" - General Edmund Duke

"No sir." - radio operator

"What do they all say?" - General Edmund Duke

"Well basically N.E.I.W." - radio operator

"Okay. Do you know what those four letters mean or stand for?" - General Edmund Duke

"No." - radio operator

"Let me get this straight, you have unlimited technology to the world and you can't tell me, the General of you, what 4 little words mean?" - General Edmund Duke

"No sir." - radio operator

"Well start thinking" - General Edmund Duke

"Yes sir." - radio operator

The General walks into a weapons room. Marines are running around the room grabbing machine guns and armor.

"What's the problem?" - General Edmund Duke

"We have detected the location of Kerrigan's base. She's holding Raynor." - unnamed marine

"Move in." - General Edmund Duke

"Yes sir." - unnamed marine

The 30,000 marines armed with machine guns, kevlar vests, and steel face gear hop onto the hovercrafts. 30 minutes later they reach the base. Men hop out and the hovercrafts leave after unloading all the men. The men see the base.

Charging toward the base a radio voice says "T.W.B.P."

"Fire!" - General Edmund Duke

The sound of guns firing, the screams of dying men. No thoughts. Only death. The thought of the enemy strikes the troops mind's.

"What is the enemy? They shoot at us because we shoot at them. We're told to." - the collective thoughts of the marines

Kerrigan steps out. The men fire. She falls to the ground. Her troops stop fighting. The human troops also stop. They stare. Eight marines run into the base and save Raynor. They (the zerg, presumably) all evaporate. Kerrigan turns to dust. N.E.I.W. is no more. T.I.P. There is peace.

THE END
